Yassaman is the Product Manager for the Data Science and Analytics departments of Aviva Canada. She is a passionate complex problem solver with 13+ years of experiences spread across six countries with a focus on solving complex problems through finance and technology. Driven to understand needs and behavior to align systems, products, services, resources, culture and people to meet identified needs. User-centric (stakeholder-centric) banker with unique blend of creative and analytical skills along with facilitation, project management, management consulting and stakeholder management skills.
She has had the privilege to contribute to over 20 organizations of all sizes from one-person-start-ups to large global firms on all types of projects from strategy development to product /service design and implementation (ex: EY, Realize Strategies, Central 1 Credit Union, Vancity Credit Union, Canadian Co-operatives association, Malawi Union of Savings and Credit Co-operatives, Aga Khan Foundation Canada, UNHCR, Deutsche Bank, Canadian Cancer Society, etc.).
Yassaman’s dedication to facilitate the understanding root causes of social, and cultural problems in various Canadian and international communities and tackling them systemically has earned her awards such as Queen Elizabeth’s Queen Jubilee medal.
